About Julia

  • Julia has worked for the NHS for nearly all her career. She welcomes learning from others in the NHS, as well from different sectors and industries.
  • Julia is always focused on supporting those she works with to have the ability and confidence to effectively apply their new learning, rather than relying on her support long term.
  • She believes that training should be useful, interactive and fun. Julia has attended far too many dull training events to think otherwise.
  • While undertaking her MBA, Julia won the Oxford University Press ‘Baines, Fill and Page Marketing Prize’ for her dissertation.
  • Julia is a peer reviewer of academic papers for BMJ Open Quality. She is also a lead author for two papers outlining the quality improvement approaches adopted for reducing pressures ulcers and preventing cerebral palsy.
